Tauragnas Lake shore

The deepest lake in Lithuania, Tauragnas, is located in the Aukštaitija National Park, close to Utena. Its crystal-clear water, steep banks, cool forest nearby, and sandy coast begin to draw people here as soon as the weather turns warm. There’s plenty to see and do here, so rest assured – you’ll find something that appeals to you. For instance, if you’re after some peace and quiet, you can take a walk along several paved trails, enjoy views of the wide and winding lake from a pontoon bridge with an observation deck, or get comfy in the outdoor furniture at one of the gazebos and enjoy the surroundings. And if you prefer active recreation, there’s always swimming, boating, or sweating it up on the volleyball court. The resort also has a playground, multiple change rooms, a spacious car park, and pleasant illumination that comes on in the evening.
