Established in 2012 by local dancers Airida Gudaitė and Laurynas Žakevicius, Low Air is the first urban dance studio in Lithuania. Both national champions in their field, their aim is to promote and explore the frontiers of street dance. The theatre’s studio offers youngsters the opportunity to explore and experiment with the many styles of street dance. The theatre and its troupe is also the face of contemporary Lithuanian dance, and has participated in many international festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe in U.K., Internationale Tanzmesse NRW in Germany, GogolFest in Ukraine, Suzanne Dellal dance centre in Tel Aviv, Dancestage Shanghai and Beijing New Dance Festival in China.
