Vilnius International Film Festival

Taking place over 10 days at the end of March, this festival is a feast for any budding cinephile. The festival has been building a head of steam over the last decade and now gathers film from all over the world, exhibiting over 100 movies across four venues in the capital, as well as smaller cities and towns. They also arrange special one off showings in theaters and other novel venues. It’s also increasingly becoming a draw for directors, so you might find yourself rubbing up against the film-makers themselves. But it’s not all movies, you can come for the festival and explore the city, taking in the many cocktail bars and restaurants that are buzzing into life with the onset of spring.
