Vilnius, Lithuania’s Christmas capital, transforms into a magical city during the winter holidays.
Christmas spirit fills the decorated streets, squares, and courtyards with markets and events. The main Christmas tree of Lithuania is traditionally lit on November 29 in Cathedral Square, while a nearby Christmas village offers local artisans’ souvenirs, gifts, and festive treats all the way until December 29. The traditional city ice rink welcomes locals and visitors at Town Hall Square. The holiday season is crowned with the Three Kings Parade.
