The trail unveils the enchanting beauty of the Vilnia Valley, with the most impressive natural object being the 65-metre-high Pūčkoriai exposure, awe-inspiring from both above and below.
Most of the trail follows the Vilnelė River and if you get tired of hiking, you can paddle back to the city centre instead. Several places offer a 2-hour kayak trip starting at Belmontas Dam and ending at the White Bridge in Downtown Vilnius.
The route is well-maintained with wooden stairs, bridges, and informative stands. Along the way, you can enjoy babbling brooks, chirping birds, and blooming flowers. The trail, complemented by views like the stunning Belmontas waterfall and historical sites like the Pūčkorių mound, offers a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle.
