The route is open year-round. Masses at the Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross are held on Sundays at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and 4:00 PM; on Saturdays at 7:00 PM; and on weekdays at 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

The Baroque Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross, together with 35 Stations of the Cross forms the Vilnius Calvary complex, featuring a 7 km-long Way of the Cross.

Founded in the 17th century in the forested Verkių area, Vilnius Calvary has long attracted pilgrims. Its landscape resembles the terrain of Jerusalem, offering those unable to travel to the Holy Land a chance to walk the Way of Jesus’ Passion and reflect on His suffering.

The Vilnius Calvary Way of the Cross is considered one of the largest Ways of the Cross in Europe. Its center is the Baroque Church of the Discovery of the Holy Cross, situated on the hill representing Golgotha in the Calvary complex.

The side altar of Our Lady of Sorrows contains an 18th-century reliquary containing a relic of the Holy Cross. The figure of the Crucified on the main altar is considered miraculous.

Spiritual experiences: Visitors can walk the Way of the Cross on Good Friday, during the three days of Pentecost, or on the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 AM.
