Somewhat ironically, Nineteen18 is located at the very heart of the Old Town, in a 16th-century building, and yet is distinguished by its modern design. Here the kitchen is open, making chef Andrius Kubilius and his team the protagonists of a kind of gastronomic play.
According to him, this decision was made deliberately. From the very beginning, Nineteen18 has been striving to stand out with its sense of freedom, inventiveness, and courage to break the rules. At Nineteen18 the main aim is to be as close to the guests as possible. Both literally and figuratively. In 2024, the restaurant was awarded 1 Michelin star.
