A country’s true spirit is best illustrated by its natural and cultural heritage. Lithuania’s five UNESCO listed sites are the nation’s treasury, which is to be enjoyed and shared by locals and visitors from across the globe.
Lithuania’s five listed sites are to be discovered and explored. They include Vilnius Old Town, and Kaunas’ unique take on Modernism, Then there's the archaeological heritage of Kernave, the Struve Geodetic Arc, and the giant shifting dune landscape of the Curonian Spit. Meanwhile, the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list also includes such local treasures as sutartinės polyphonic songs, cross-crafting, the Song Festival, and straw gardens, which have been added to the list in 2023.
