More information
Juodkrantė definitely lives up to its name (roughly translated as “black shore”) with this truly spooky experience. Alongside a trail etched into one of the hillsides that bank this small fishing village, you’ll find more than 80 large figures (all carved from oak).
Juodkrantė definitely lives up to its name (roughly translated as “black shore”) with this truly spooky experience. Alongside a trail etched into one of the hillsides that bank this small fishing village, you’ll find more than 80 large figures (all carved from oak). These characters, all of which are culled from Lithuanian legend, contain demons, witches, and all manner of things that go bump in the night. There’s even a throne that you can practice your best king or queen pose on. Perfect for families, as well as fledgling witches and warlocks, of course.
