Nida Highlight Tower

Who told you observation towers can’t be artsy? Nestled near the Nida Lighthouse, the Nida Highlight Tower stands as a unique creation of French architects, built during the 2016 European Architecture Students Assembly (EASA) workshop. What sets this 10-meter-high observation tower apart is its lack of stairs; instead, you must climb rungs to reach the top. The Highlight Tower is a three-tiered structure made of traditionally treated wood attached to a metal frame The first level features swings, the second a mini-amphitheater, and the third level greets you with a viewing platform. The view towards the west over the treetops reveals the Baltic Sea, offering a splendid spot to view breathtaking sunsets.
