Lithuanian Winter Sports Centre

As some would have it, snow begins to fall the earliest and remains the longest in Ignalina, which explains why the city has been chosen to host the Lithuanian Winter Sports Centre. Here you’ll find a slope for children and beginners, another one for competitions, and two – for amateur skiers and snowboarders. But this is only the beginning! The centre also has a biathlon stadium, one of the country’s largest snow parks, a skiing and snowboarding school, a downhill slope for adrenaline junkies, several Nordic walking trails, a café-bar, gym, multiple types of sauna, and a sports gear rental. If you’re lucky, you may even run into the establishment’s director and master skier, Bronius Cicėnas, who likes to share his knowledge with visitors.
