Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum

Hidden within the railway station in the town Anykščiai is a real treat for railway enthusiasts of all ages. With its distinctive locomotive “Kukushka”, as well as other rolling stock, signaling tools and other exhibits, the Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum transports its visitors to an earlier age of locomotion. And this feel of another epoch is enhanced by the surroundings - railings, the old station buildings, water tower, and cobbled square. You can experience how a waiting room looked in the interwar years, and see the room where the station chief worked. And visitors can even interact with some of the exhibits like the manual railcar and the station bicycle.
