Svencelė

Close to Klaipėda, on the shores of the Curonian Lagoon, lies the picturesque village of Svencelė. Cosy, laid back, yet surprisingly modern, it is fast becoming a magnet for enthusiasts of kiteboarding, windsurfing, and wakeboarding. The key to its popularity is the novel way the village has been planned, where pretty much all properties have access to the water. And then there’s the surrounding geography, which makes it the perfect place to catch and maintain the wind. In fact, during the summer months, a community of kitesurfers rocks up for the season.
