The classicist manor house of captivating beauty was built for the Tyzenhauz family in the early 19th century. After its renovation at the beginning of the 1900s, it also acquired more modern Neo-Renaissance and Art Nouveau features.

This rich artistic history made it a perfect choice to house the Rokiškis Regional Museum. Today, an intensive and rich cultural life takes place within its walls. The museum constantly hosts art exhibitions and concerts, as well as cultural, educational , and other events.
