Preila Beach

The picturesque village of Preila is the smaller, more offbeat alternative to neighboring Nida. The village itself is nestled by the glacial waters of the lagoon. Getting to the sea requires a fun 2km walk along a path that snakes up a hill and then down through a lush forest. After a day lounging on the pristine beach, you can head to the steps of the Central Lifeguard Station with its distinctive minimalist forms and shining white walls. There you can catch some of the spectacular sunsets the beach is famous for.
