Musical fountain

The height and direction of the water jets and the lighting of the fountain change according to the music selected. The water jets are controlled by special computer equipment according to the song. The fountain's computer automatically adjusts the height and angle of the jets according to the direction and strength of the wind. The spectacular light and music effect is created by 260 installed water jets and 48 multi-coloured lights that produce a full range of colours. Five powerful pumps mounted beneath the fountain's basin push the main jet to a height of 8 metres and lift almost 4.3 tonnes of water into the air per minute. In terms of the volume of water lifted, the Palanga Fountain is the largest dancing fountain in Lithuania.
