Over its colourful history, the Zypliai manor has been everything from a Catholic seminary to a military hospital. Originally constructed in the Neoclassical style, the manor was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century, acquiring some features of neoBaroque.
Over its colourful history, the Zypliai manor has been everything from a Catholic seminary to a military hospital. Originally constructed in the Neoclassical style, the manor was rebuilt at the turn of the 20th century, acquiring some features of neoBaroque.
After a recent restauration, the building has regained its past magnificence. Today, the manor is a cultural centre hosting exhibitions, concerts, fairs and other events in its historical spaces. The surrounding park is perfect for an afternoon walk while the manor’s restaurant is just the place to try out some dishes once enjoyed by Lithuanian nobles.
