Rūta Chocolate Museum in Šiauliai

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Located in Lithuania’s fourth largest city, Šiauliai, the Rūta Chocolate Museum is housed within an old chocolate factory. Since opening in 2012 it has attracted over 160,000 visitors from 95 countries and it’s no surprise why. With exhibitions covering the history of chocolate from Mayan times to today, and interactive exhibits designed to inspire more than your tastebuds, there’s plenty to keep you and the family entertained. And talking of taste buds, the museum also holds regular tastings, and there’s even a workshop where you can try your hand at the most delicious craft of chocolate making.
