This is the way of Grace, a remarkable route for pilgrims and tourists.‘
This route stretches across four Lithuanian municipalities: Kelmė District, Raseiniai District, Šiauliai District, and the city of Šiauliai. It includes 30 religious, historical, cultural, and natural sites. The route can be completed on foot in about one week, by bicycle in 3–4 days, or by car in 2–3 days. The total length of the route is 185 km.
The route is circular and divided into sections, allowing pilgrims to begin and finish their journey at the same location or at any other point along the way. Pilgrims are encouraged to participate in Holy Mass daily, to make a confession and to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion during the trip.
From the mystical Hill of Crosses to the Sanctuary of Šiluva, known for its miracles, the route leads through the Cathedral of St. Apostles Peter and Paul in Šiauliai, home to one of the oldest solar clocks in Lithuania, and the unique church and monastery ensemble of Tytuvėnai. Along the way, visitors encounter charming wooden churches, ancient hillforts, observation towers, museums, and even an open-air art gallery.
At every step of the Way of Grace, visitors can experience the harmony of faith, tradition, and nature, engaging both sight and heart.
