Land sailing across the beaches of the Curonian Spit is an experience you won’t forget. Hop into a small and compact three-wheel Blokart and cruise along the seacoast in any season. No prior sailing experience required!

The experience on offer takes about 3.5 hours to complete, zipping along the route Juodkrantė-Smiltynė (20 kilometres) or Juodkrantė-Pirate Hut-Juodkrantė (35 kilometres). The choice typically depends on the direction of wind. Given firm enough sand and strong gales, the one-design class land yacht, made in New Zealand, can reach a speed of 25-50 km/h.
Upon arriving at the location, an instructor will teach you how to handle the vehicle and, if it’s raining, give you a cosy waterproof rain jacket to wear during the experience. At the end, there will be a picnic waiting for you. The organisers also offer Blokart marathons for bachelor and bachelorette parties, as well as for family events. Just don’t forget to book in advance!
