The Museum of Diocese of Samogitia invites visitors to experience the sacred heritage of Samogitia. Located in the historic palace of the Samogitian Seminary building in Varniai, it preserves the region’s religious treasures, masterpieces of art and historical artifacts.

In the authentic 18th-century rooms, visitors can walk through the corridors and halls of the former seminary.

The museum features a gallery of portraits of Samogitian bishops, allowing visitors to explore the Church and Lithuanian history from the 15th to the 19th centuries. Samogitian bishops were not only spiritual leaders but also influential figures in the state.

Visitors can also climb the museum’s bell tower, which houses four bronze bells and offers panoramic views of Varniai.
