Excursion and activities in ethnographic air-open museum of Rumšiškės

Situated 80 km northwest of Vilnius and 20 km from Kaunas Rumsiskes Open-Air Ethnic Museum is a mosaic of ancient Lithuanian villages. Old farmstead buildings from all the ethnographic regions have been moved to the shore to the Kaunas Sea - dwelling houses, granaries, threshing bars, cattle-sheds are all in harmony with the breath-taking natural scenery. Be a Viking in Vilnius

Unexpected adventure waits for you on Viking ship in Vilnius! Vikings are known for their long journeys and quests and there are a lot of ties between Viking culture and Baltic tribes that lived in Lithuania in 10th-11th centuries. Hot - Air Ballooning over the Old Town

Vilnius offers a truly memorable experience gliding over its charming Old Town in a hot air balloon. Vilnius is one of the few cities where hot air ballooning is possible over the city centre. Enjoy the wonders of quietly floating a kilometre above Vilnius and watching at its architectural glory and drifting out over the breathtaking countryside.

Swim the Kaunas Reservoir in a catamaran

Tours by river and lake are one of the best ways to explore the country. The largest artificial lake in Lithuania is especially attractive because of its size and scenic surroundings. One of the most curious entertainment activities offered by the “Žalgiris” Yacht Club is a cruise on a catamaran capable of accommodating up to 15 people. It is tailored towards a cosy, leisurely tour: there are comfortable seats, a table, sound equipment, and a convertible roof in case of rain.

The hour-long cruise allows you to enjoy breathtaking views of the Kaunas Reservoir Regional Park and the Pažaislis Monastery. This architectural masterpiece of the 17-18th century is considered to be one of the best examples of Late Baroque in Northern and Eastern Europe. You can also opt for a cruise route to the Bay of Love (Meilės įlanka) and to Rumšiškės (the duration of the tour: is 2 hours). You can reach as far as Birštonas or the Nemunas Loop Regional Park using the catamaran (the duration is 6 hours).

Discover the beauty of the Curonian Lagoon

A steamboat cruise will bring rest and relaxation, rowing a boat gets your body some workout, while sailing a yacht means you will compete with the wind! The Curonian Lagoon features perfect conditions for sailing. There are two yacht-clubs in the area: one is located in Smiltynė, the other in Nida. Along with keeping your own yacht there, you can hire one, too. Additionally, you can book an excursion to the Curonian Lagoon or, if desired, a different route.

Half of the Lagoon belongs to Lithuania and the other part to the Kaliningrad Oblast of the Russian Federation. The coast line of the Curonian Lagoon has an abundance of tourist sites to visit. Having left Nida, on your way to Smiltynė you can see and admire the sandy and ragged coastline of the Curonian Spit.

In the distance, you can see the majestic Hills of Vecekrugas, Karvaičiai, the Avių Hill, the Vinkis Dune and the Naglis Cape. Past Juodkrantė is the tiny Amber Bay; you will also be stunned by the Dead Dunes.

Enjoy the Baltic Sea view from the deck of a cruise ship

See the endless immensity of the Baltic Sea, hear the riotous melody of the waves, feel the cool breeze on your face, and watch terns and seagulls flying around! “Venus” is a new comfortable three-deck marine ship able to accommodate between 20 and 200 passengers. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (departure times 1.30 pm, 3.30 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm) it takes passengers from the Klaipėda cruise ship terminal.

The voyage by the route Cruise ship terminal–Sea gate–the Baltic Sea–The Sea Museum–the dolphinarium– Cruise ship terminal takes 1.5 hours. On the cruise, you will learn some facts about the water area of the Klaipėda port, the Baltic Sea, the Curonian Lagoon, etc.

Travel from Druskininkai to Liškiava by the River Nemunas

Travelling down the Nemunas River you will feel as light as a feather, enjoy the easy ride down this blue ribbon of water surrounded by beautiful green woods, mounds, hills and villages. You can join a trip to Liškiava by steamboat on the Druskininkai–Liškiava–Druskininkai route. Cruises are available from May 1 to October 15, Tuesdays–Sundays. The ship leaves Druskininkai at 2.30 pm; the voyage takes 4 hours: you will reach Liškiava in 40 minutes, then spend 1 hour and 20 minutes on a tour of Liškiava, while another hour is spent on the return trip along the Nemunas River.

In Liškiava you will see some of the most beautiful Late Baroque style buildings – the Monastery and the Holy Trinity Church. The upscale resort of Druskininkai is widely renowned because of its mineral water springs, the water of which is used in numerous treatments, health and beauty procedures. The resort also enjoys numerous other tourist advantages: pine trees, two entertainment parks, an adventure park and an abundance of natural and cultural monuments and sites.

Enjoy the scenic views of Vilnius from the river Neris

The ship “Ryga” takes tourists in Vilnius from the Bridge of King Mindaugas to Valakampiai and then to the White (Šilo) Bridge, before returning. As soon as you start the tour, on the right-hand side you will see the River Vilnia flow into the Neris River. On this confluence stands a white building – The Old Arsenal. In the 16th century, it was one of the largest arsenals (weapon storehouse) of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth. Now the building houses the Museum of Applied Art. If you look upwards, you will see the splendid Vilnius hills with the majestic symbols of Vilnius – Gediminas Castle and the white monument of the Three Crosses. Additionally, further on your right, you will see the Palaces of Sluškos and Petras Vileišis. On the other side of the river, the most prominent building is the Sports Palace. When the ship turns round by the bridge, take a look upwards – you should see St Peter and St Paul’s Church, the most famous Baroque building in Vilnius.

The duration of the trip: from 45 to 60 minutes.

Travel by the old narrow gauge railway

An exotic trip on the romantic Siaurukas narrow gauge railway near the scenic Lithuanian lakes will be an amazing incentive for the whole group of employees. Walk through swamps

Walking in the Lithuanian swamp marshes is a unique and adventurous entertainment activity! The swamp tour contains many surprises and adventures: you will have to swim, walk over a tree in the water, and sometimes you can even get swamped up to the neck - and then the other members of your team will need to pull you out “by your ears”.
