Adventure and a stay in Lithuania go hand in hand. And what better way to facilitate team building than paddle boarding and some quality time in nature?

Get karting

If you’re a lover of speed, but are not yet ready to get behind the wheel of an F1 car, karting is the perfect answer. There are numerous tracks in and around Vilnius and Kaunas, as well as smaller tracks around the country where you can pit your driving prowess against your friends and work colleagues. If you love that adrenaline rush, this is for you. All the required safety equipment will also be provided.

Duration: one session – 9 minutes.

٭ We recommend that you race in organised groups of around 10-12. That way you’ll be freer and safer around people you trust and know.

Sail a land yacht

All the fun of yachting without having to worry about the waves – land sailing is exhilarating and easy to learn. All it takes is 15 minutes to learn how to tackle the wind and you’re ready to go. By the sea on the golden sand, or even on an ice covered lake, this is a great activity for individuals or groups. Why not host your own company regatta?

Duration: from 15 minutes to 1 hour. A regatta can take up to 3.5 hours. A lesson with an instructor takes about 15 minutes.

* When organising a race, the number of participants can be up to 35 (duration – 3.5 hours).

Ride a quad bike

Looking for a way to escape the office, and get to know the amazing natural beauty that Lithuania has to offer? Well, quad biking might be the perfect solution for you and your team. Available all year round throughout the country, and in all weather conditions, here you’ll experience the perfect marriage of speed and fun. Through forest trails, up huge dunes, and along country roads.. And there are always instructors on hand to give first timers and amateurs the lessons they need.

Duration: from 1 hour to 2.5 hours.

Recommended number of participants: 10–40 people.

* You can book an “orienteering” game, where cars are driven on a track only lit by torches.

Paddle boarding or canoeing in Vilnius

Why explore Vilnius by foot or bike when you can experience it from a canoe or paddle board? You’ll find boat rentals all the way along the River Neris where you and your friends or team can rent a boat and lifejacket. Then all that’s left is to paddle and enjoy the view. There are also “white-water” kayaking rides along the smaller Vilnelė river that even the most amateur kayaker can manage. The water is waiting for you!

Duration: 2-3 hour(s).

Group size: from 10 to 30 people.

Take a swing at creating some golfing moments

Looking to improve your handicap while taking in some lovely Lithuanian views? There are five golf courses in the country and all of them are located in amazing natural surroundings. On the outskirts of Vilnius you have a choice of three courses: the Capitals Golf Club, the Centre of Europe Golf Club and the V Golf Club; close to Kaunas is the club Elnias and in the coastal region you can play golf at the National Golf Resort. Hole in one!

Duration: on the basis of your request.

٭ Additionally, playing golf in Lithuania is considerably lower in price in comparison to Western Europe.

Take a shot at paintball

It’s no surprise that in a country of forests, paintball is a popular pastime. After all, there’s plenty of places to hide. A perfect team activity, it also gives you a chance to live out your childhood fantasies of being an action hero. You’ll find that there are lots of both outdoor and indoor opportunities that you can explore, and there will always be an instructor on hand to dish out helpful hints and training. All the required safety equipment will also be provided.

Duration: 2–3 hours.

Number of players: from 8 to 24 people.

Try canoe polo

A fun and exhilarating mix of water polo, basketball and handball, canoe-polo is the perfect sport for smaller teams who want to test who’s best. Here, teams of 3-6 compete with each other to score goals. What makes this exciting is that each competitor is on a kayak. But as these are easy to control “sit on top” kayaks, no kayaking skills are needed. And with canoe polo clubs in both Vilnius and Trakai, there are plenty of opportunities for a bit of training before you give it a go.

Duration: about 2 hours.

٭ The teams competing with each other are made up of 3–6 people.

Go adventuring in the treetops

Want to challenge your colleagues to see who’s the real king or queen of the jungle? If you have a head for heights, Lithuania’s five adventure parks are definitely for you. There’s swinging logs, bridges, nets, swings, stirrups, ladders, rope knots, pendula, Tarzan and zip-line flights – in short, every vertigo-inducing thrill imaginable. For this one, we advise checking beforehand that your friends or team is okay with heights.

Duration: the time you can spend in the park is from 1 hour to 4 hours.

Fire an arrow

Move over Robin Hood! If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to pull back the bow and send the arrow speeding toward its target, why not try out archery in one of the country’s many archery ranges. Take a lesson if you’re a novice, and then challenge yourself, your friends and your team to a competition.

Duration: up to 1 hour.

٭ The number of participants is not limited.

Explore Vilnius by scooter, bike or trolleybus

Why walk when you can hop on a scooter or bike? Pay and ride is as common in Vilnius as it is everywhere. All you’ll need is to download a simple app and you’ll be ready to ride. And then, of course, there’s the option of the famous city trolley-bus. Again, we’d recommend downloading the local city travel app beforehand. And if you’re planning on a team trip, you’ll find you’ll be able to book one of the city’s most beautiful vintage buses, and the trip can even come with its own catering and entertainment.

Duration: 1-2 hour(s).

Group size: from 5 to 20 people.

Get on horseback

Looking to experience the best in Lithuanian nature from a unique perspective? Whether it’s flower filled meadows, enchanted forests or unspoilt dunes, there’s no better way to see it than from the saddle. You’ll find stables throughout the country that will be happy to accommodate small and large groups, arranging tours and providing lessons for those that have never ridden.

Duration: from a few hours to a few days.
