Culinary Stars Night Lithuania: Presentation of the MICHELIN Guide 2025 Plates and Bocuse d’Or Winners

On May 28, Lithuania will host a special gastronomic celebration – the Culinary Stars Night Lithuania event. This evening is dedicated to honoring Lithuania's achievements in the gastronomy sector. During the event, prestigious MICHELIN Guide 2025 plates will be presented to selected restaurants, and the winners of the national Bocuse d’Or competition in Lithuania will be announced. The event is organized by Lithuania’s national tourism development agency, Lithuania Travel.

Not a results announcement, but a celebration

As in other countries where the MICHELIN Guide has been active for more than one year, official results are announced only by MICHELIN Guide representatives through media channels, following strict international confidentiality rules. The public announcement will take place on the same day – May 28 – via an official press release. Therefore, the Culinary Stars Night Lithuania is not meant for announcing the results; it is a celebration. During this symbolic and festive evening, restaurants will receive their MICHELIN Guide 2025 plates, after the official results have already been made public during the day. The event highlights the achievements of Lithuania’s gastronomy, bringing together culinary professionals, partners, and like-minded guests for an evening that honors the country’s top restaurants and their teams.

How is the guest list compiled?

In accordance with MICHELIN Guide confidentiality rules, newly selected restaurants for the 2025 edition cannot be invited in advance, as the organizers are not informed which establishments will be included until the official announcement. Therefore, this year’s guest list is based on the restaurants that were featured or awarded in the 2024 MICHELIN Guide.

Newly selected restaurants for the 2025 edition will be invited to the celebration immediately after the official announcement of the results – on May 28 – following international practice.

Visuals – without the MICHELIN red

The visual identity of the event also complies with MICHELIN Guide guidelines – when an event is not organized by the MICHELIN Guide itself but locally, it is prohibited to use their signature design elements, such as the red color or specific graphic motifs reminiscent of the guide. Therefore, the Culinary Stars Night Lithuania visual identity was developed strictly in accordance with the Lithuania Travel brand guidelines and color palette. The only element used to highlight MICHELIN Guide participation is a permitted co-branded logo.

One night – two symbols of culinary prestige

This year, as in other countries with an established presence of the MICHELIN Guide, the event is organized as a local celebration. The organizers retain the right to design a unique concept for the evening. Thus, the event encompasses more than just the MICHELIN Guide results – it will also feature the announcement of the national Bocuse d’Or competition winners. The first Bocuse d’Or national competition in Lithuania will take place earlier on the same day, culminating in the announcement of the results during the evening celebration.
